Dubmarine announce The Reef to Red Sands Tour!
Dancefloor technicians and feel good merchants Dubmarine are battening the hatches and prepping for their ‘Reef to Red Sands’ tour. The tour will take the crew from tropical North Qld, out to the red center in Alice Springs for NAIDOC week celebrations and down to Sydney in NSW. Never one to shy away from a meteorological challenge, Dubmarine will be performing their sonic science show across the range of climates Australia has to offer.
Lead by the vocal gymnastics of indigenous superstar and Gangulu man D-Kazman, Dubmarine have a mission; to produce bass crunching, rhythm pounding, hip shaking modern music fusing elements of music from all around the world.
Recently Dubmarine released their first full length album, Depth of Sound. Featuring their trademark bass-driven foundations, twin trombone blasts and thunderous synth explosions, the band rocks deep dancehall, reggae, dub, and drum and bass riddims. Depth of Sound was featured on 3RRRs Soundscape (Melboune), was a Pbs Tipsheet (Melbourne), and a 4ZzZ feature album (Brisbane). Single Pon the Dancefloor was also added to rotation on FBI Radio (Sydney).
